I have been struggling with chronic pain, insomnia, migraines, disc issues, inflammation & metabolic issues for so many years. I have tried so many different things for each of my many issues, to no avail, with minimal relief. After talking with Joe and Dena at Citizen OxyWellness, I decided to give the HBOT and PBM light therapy a try. I took a dive in the HBOT on Aug 4th... it was so relaxing, the playlist Dena setup for me was great, I felt like I was on my very own private island breathing in the highest quality of fresh air you could imagine... I felt as if I had been transported... I was so incredibly relaxed and when it was time to ascend, I felt rejuvenated and hopeful that I was on the right path. I also tried the PBM light therapy bed and absolutely loved it. I got some of the best sleep I have gotten in so long that evening and have since signed up for more sessions and my many issues have steadily improved. Over the last 5 years I developed a great interest in why I and most others I know seem to constantly fight to keep good health. Thus began my search for why Americans are one of the most ill groups of people in the world, with a life expectancy dropping 3 years in just the past 5 years, despite the fact we spend 4 times more for our healthcare than most other developed nations. After studying the problems, I concluded that most Americans need to permanently change their diet and lifestyle in order to repair their body and not just continually pay to manage their poor health. It became clear that much I had been told and sold about eating and maintaining good health was simply not true. That awareness led me to conclude that my health revolved around making my body metabolically healthy, reducing inflammation and strengthening my immune system. Simply, that means using the 5 things your body needs for optimum performance: oxygen, food, light, sleep and movement in their best combinations, while avoiding toxins, to keep the body fit, strong and efficient. Unfortunately, for many different reasons Americans have not done these things very well, resulting in acute and chronic illness being widespread. In my search I discovered that hyperbaric oxygen therapy was extremely beneficial for many conditions as well as general body maintenance, but it is mostly unavailable and unaffordable. I was surprised at the noticeable results after my first HBOT session, which immediately temporarily relieved my chronic back and knee pain from old prior injuries. After studying other cases of very surprising permanent healing achieved using a series of HBOT, I was led to accumulate in one place the lifestyle plan, therapies and treatments which I believe can best help Americans improve and achieve good health and wellness, at a manageable and affordable cost for many. A metabolically stable diet, exercise with joint-friendly impact on the body, light therapy to utilize the benefits of the full healthy wavelengths of the Sun, good sleep, and improving the body's oxygen intake is proven to maximize body energy. I have been consistently using a combination of our therapies, eating a metabolically stable diet and increasing my light exposure and I truly believe it is the best plan for my personal health and wellness. For several years I have dealt with chemical and environmental allergens that put me on a path to address gut health, detoxification and a cleaner diet. In addition, in the middle of the Covid crisis, I also discovered a quick growing 5 cm mass in my breast. After discussing my options with my personal doctors, a surgeon and a naturopath I was seeing for my allergen issues, I chose to radically change my diet, begin several specific therapies including vibration plate, rebounder exercise, the Avacen microcirculation hand device and lymphatic massage along with optimizing my sunlight exposure. Eight weeks later after much prayer and consistently following my therapy plan, the mass had completely dissolved and I became a firm believer in these therapies. In the next couple of years I realized, however, that if I was inconsistent with my diet increasing my sugar and carb intake and if I stopped my vibration and rebounder therapy, inflammation would quickly increase in my body resulting in achy joints, stiffness and digestive issues. HBOT was especially surprising because at that time we knew very little about it, but continually came across specific cases about its effectiveness. We found very few centers offering affordable therapies and were determined to learn as much as possible about these new options. It seemed that HBOT especially was not available nor affordable for most people, and we hope to change that.
